I use small round plastic tubberware type of stuff for my water. I have to rinse it out more often but you would never mistake it for a drinking glass.

Just dont leave it out because your cats will still drink from it!
Been there. Once I clean my brush in my coffee and drank my brush water, not a good day for me ;p.
I haven't done that yet, but I'm well-trained. been using the same paint-glass (a jam jar) since the first mini I painted, 23 years ago. It's not helping you though that your paint water looks like refreshing strawberry lemonade!
Done it. Even though one is patently not a tea mug. Still drank the tea though.
In my defence I was distracted by a three year old at the time!
It is heard over the top of the cube when I paint at work... 'Shoot, dipped in my coffee again.'
