Dystopian Legions Tanks

Just picked up a few photos of some very cool looking tanks that will be coming out soon as part of the Dystopian Legions 28mm scale system from Spartan Games. As someone who is at serious risk of becoming tank-mech-head, I think these look rather tasty. It looks like the range as a whole would lend itself very nicely to some kind of steampunk Imperial Guard, which would be extremely cool.

Punk, Steam And Cyber - New Artwork

I have an art project in mind for my brother that will entail working in the most part with black and white acrylics tempered with splashes of matt medium. So today I created the following two pieces as studies in working with these materials - I just allowed both to develop as I applied the paint, and I suppose I must have been in a characteristically punky mood judging by the results. With no aim in mind other than to work together differing mixtures of the paint and medium I ended up with these (both on A5 acrylic paper, amateur psychoanalysts start your engines...):

Steampunk Star Wars

When passions collide it can sometimes turn messy. These steampunk versions of Star Wars characters from the artist Bjorn Hurri, however, are superb. There's a rather effortless elegance about them that I just adore. I have a few steampunk novels on my Christmas list, although it's not a genre I know much about. These great illustrations have really whet my appetite.
