Inside Guillermo del Toro's Sketchbook

I have to share this art work with you because it's so very, very cool. It's from Guillermo del Toro's notebooks and I found it over at Geek Tyrant. I've always admired del Toro's work though I never realised he was such a talented artist - the rather vintage style of these sketches is simply terrific. I hope you enjoy them as much as I am. I'm really inspired to keep a sketchbook too.

  1. Amazing, some people just do what they want. It's always intresting and fun to see when movie directors make their visions a live and how their style is so strong that it can be found from everything what they do. Tim Burton's The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy is one of my own favorites in that genre.

    1. I only wish I was so talented! Agreed Tim Burton is another great example.

  2. That last one is by Keith Thompson >> http://blog.keiththompsonart.com/2013/07/pacific-rim-out-today.html
